Read an article awhile back. At the time insurance was financially only feasible on the largest cpntracts out there. Something like an a rod deal. Where if he went belly up with 5 years left the team would be financially ruined. Said that more run of the mill deals and shorter term contracts had too much premium to make sense. Crazy as it sounds hills $16 mill for 3 years is run of the mill. Because he has pitched this year and likely will continue To do so off and on I am positive this year could not be cashed in on even if it's insured. Which I doubt. The last two years of the deal I can't say but his malady is not catastrophic. It's just irritating and annoying. Troublesome. There's a difference. Even if it were insured Which as insaidnindoubt
