Regardless. And and and. The 2019 they are supposed to give up turns into a 2017 and a 2018 second rounder. Meaning they lose two second round picks. One in 20 17 one in 2018. Somehow I think the NBA has some sort of a rule that you cannot give up your first round pick two years in a row. But my understanding is that the Nets have done just that to the Celtics this year and next year. So I'm not sure how to reconcile those two pieces of information If the lakers lose the pick this year they get their 2018 and lose their 19 If they keepnitnthey lose their 18 with no protections and also two second rounders. But keep the 19 first rounder.
