Organization men

This was a common affliction of that generation.

This was before the investigative reporting.

One just worked for  the organization and paid no attention if the organization did something shady.

There once was a book entitled "The Organization Man" which entered into an analysis of this.

A product of his times.

Perhaps the 50s weren't quite as pure and great as people imagine. At UCLA they had Wooden and Sanders. I am sure they weren't the only two "Organization Men" in college athletics at the time.
