Its far too complex to debate here, but there wer dramatically different strategic choices. With most people’s grade school comprehension of WWII and belief in the myths of propaganda supporting Churchill it is not worth debating. This Wikipedia article somewhat covers the choices. Neither the article or I are pro-Nazi.
And there are more facts than you know. Whatever choices there were then, were washed away in agiant wave of US patriotism eliminating all other viewpoints ot support the “good war”.
