corner is IMHO the toughest position to play on the football field and to play it well you need to have a certain mentality that can forget quickly when someone burns you, recovery speed, technique...in other words coaching along with guts to fact a pulling guad while closing down on a runningback, and timing to know when to turn your head, handfight and get the ball....so those either cover or you can't is pretty much a simplification on the stuff it takes to be a good corner...and I'll offer this as well for all those awards Dejon sanders got as a corner...he was an incomplete corner...he could cover but hs as not good at tackling or closing down a runner on his side of the field...in other words he was incomplete as a corner...now Ronnie Lott was a corner...and a safety...was tough, agressive and understood the game and played a nore complete game then sanders ever did as a corner back...
