A little premature if you ask me

a smarter move would be to wait until the 2018 season plays out to determine if Clay has built the kind of program that can contend for NC's....but I've been posting for awhile that I don't beleive the big shots at USC and the Wine and Cheese crowd are wiling to put the kind of effort thats needed into building an annual NC contender...they sure haven't helped Clay in that regards...and don't throw that Colieum renovation out there....the way you support a coach is a longterm contract..check....highly paid assistants..nope...a large well paid support staff that can do all the dirty work to give the coachses time to coach...nope....a highly skilled medical staff.....nope..a great Strenghonal programt and Conditioning program ....nope and a highly rated nutrition program...nope and lastly the kind of budget to allow the coaches to attend clinics and seminars to improve their skill set...thats the kind of stuff the big boys like Alabama, Clemson, Ohio St are doing and Texas is following that set of parameters and I'm sure there are some I've missed...

USC is not following that approach and IMHO that will set back any expectation of a yearly contender for an NC regardless of who is coaching this program...
