That was the case in practice #4...

In the rotation, it was his turn not to start.. Practice #1, Fink did... Practice #2, Sears did... Practice #3, JT did...he'll start Practice #6 no doubt.

Meanwhile...in practice #4 he did not play as much.  The timed horn sounded to end the first part of offensive practice before JT got his reps.  Then on the goal line both Fink and Sears struggled (both throwing ints) with JT playing comparatively better when he was in there.

Not much to read into that I don't think .  They actually have Sears and Fink running different plays than JT.   They know they can't make the throws JT does.  They also have the other two QB's taking off and running immediately if a pass play starts to break down..but not JT.  

Pretty interesting competition so far.
