Everyone assumed ITS tore his ACL

By: Contrarian

It was announced he suffered a serious knee injury at the very end the Holiday Bowl (why he was still playing in a blowout is anyone's guess), but the extent of it wasn't specified.  It turned out he tore a knee ligament, but not his ACL, meaning he had a quicker recovery time.  He was already looking fairly good in spring practice.  A recent topic of discussion on other boards however is that USC players almost never make it back to full speed in their estimated recovery time frame. Iosefa dislocated his kneecap in August of last year and was supposed to be out around 6 weeks.  He's still not back, and will not play at all this year.

ITS should be healthy for this season however.  Hope he hasn't lost any of his speed.
