One of my favorite parts about "conservatives"

By: kal kommie

Is how they always look for the opportunity to attack even when (perhaps especially when) they're in the wrong. The rule couldn't be more clearly against what was allowed to happen:

"active duty personnel may not engage in partisan political activities and all military personnel should avoid the inference that their political activities imply or appear to imply DoD sponsorship, approval, or endorsement of a political candidate, campaign, or cause."

Hmmm let's see, does bringing Trump's signature campaign paraphernalia to a photo op with the president (who already has an official re-election campaign, though he hasn't stopped campaigning since 2015) sound like it would tend to imply or appear to imply approval or endorsement of a political candidate, campaign or cause? Well duh of course it does. What does this mean? It means once again the party of "law and order" is practicing its favorite sin, hypocricy. They intend to respect rules just as far as it benefits them at that moment. It's not very conservative, but it's perfectly "conservative".
