India? A little surprised that India Indians would be involved. I suppose they have a lot of experience dealing with it on their home soil, but curious what they think the solution is. Seva is a good thing. Habitat for Humanity is a good program but some of the people who run it I'm not so sure about. Running a non profit is not easy. 

 

I drove through tent city in LA twice in the last two weeks, no easy answer. Drugs and mental illness are a big part of the issue. Lots of programs like halfway houses and counseling end up getting abused or twisted. It's a tough issue on many fronts.
