2024 Investment results for Congress.

Some real investment geniuses. At first glance I started getting pissed. Then I looked at my portfolio and see i got 59.87% return in 2024. When I read Java’s posts, I feel like I’m investing like a third grader, but in a forgiving market even third graders can make buckets of money. You just have to get a seat at the table. I’m paring down my risk though. Doing a nice size check request today, new year, tax free until April 2026.

The chart with the list of names is not by political party,. I t would be nice to have that information but the other chart clearly shows the Dems did better overall.

These portfolios cannot possibly be in a blind trust and managed by advisers. There are shenanigans and fuckery going on.

Not tax free if you’ve got safe harbor issues. Be aware that they’ll pop you if it goes up a bunch and you didn’t make quarterly deposits

Very true, I have only had two CPA’s in the last 25 plus years. I don’t change cpas, doctors, dentists or wives. All pretty constant. It seems whenever you change any of those, the new one will tell you how bad the previous one was.

I’m actually pretty conservative with expenses and deductions. I run a few yellow lights here and there but never a red light. I pay too much every year. It would be easier to swallow if I thought our tax money was used wisely. But we know better. Taxes and death
