Anyone else keeping an eye on egg prices?

I went to Costco with the wife today, geezus what a freaking madhouse. I immediately regretted it. Place was packed at 2 in the afternoon. Freaking old people. No offense.

Java was right on in his post from earlier.

My wife came out of there with no eggs. Says they were sold out, so I don’t know if prices are up or down but I intend to find out. Any of you homo’s shop for eggs lately?

Costco up north runs out every day. If you want a chance at eggs, have to go early. Luckily I have a flock of 13 birds that normally produce well for us. Not so great in the winter.

Having chickens is pretty simple really. As long as you don’t get any roosters.

To me it’s more than worth it. I dont think financially its pencils out any better but the quality and taste of the eggs is night and day from store bought eggs.
