If you know you know 😉
Did he say to buy gold? Hahahaha. Ummm no.
He says to hold cash. I hate that. 2 years ago, I bought a 6 month CD with some cash I was holding for a real estate deal. When it matured I got paid $2400 bucks in interest. So disappointing. I think it was 5% interest. Just boring. If you contrast it with the ass kicking I have been taking the last two weeks it’s fantastic but comparing it to the 30% + i was making back then it was sad.
Be greedy when others are fearful, be aggressive when there is blood in the streets. That takes balls. Big balls.
Whatcha gonna do?
Berkshire sold $143 billion in stock in 2024, while purchasing only $9 billion. That brings its net sales to $134 billion last year. Berkshire has never been a net seller on that magnitude at any point in its history.
Berkshire had $334 billion in cash and equivalents on its balance sheet, as of December 2024. That figure doubled in the past year, and it represents a new record for the company.

Hard to get the returns he demands with cash just sitting around
