in LV this morning (2.97). I’ll be in the W.LA area next mon-Wed and see gas as low as 3.70 a gallon. Cant recall when gas was that “cheap.” Why did the price of oil go down? I know, “it’s complicated,,, a multitude of factors.” 😂
Im not making a ton of money in the stock market. I work in an egg economy. Eggs are my currency and I use them for trade for things like fuel. This is what’s important to me.
Election Day 2020 In East Texas I paid $1.69/gal. WTI was $37/bbl
Feb. 2022 we were right at $4/gal WTI was $92/bbl
Today, I paid $2.63 WTI is $68/bbl
Oil production tanked in 2021 and 2022.
2023 production increased
2024 production matched 2019
Pump pricing is still high because of the amount of leases being rejected, various EPA regs.
But Joe increased oil drilling to ease inflation, and not a single Leftist wants to talk about how drill baby drill lowered pump prices.
This will continue under Trump
