And California isn’t even the worst hit. Texas, Florida and the tornado alley states need to shoulder their share. I’m tired of paying for them to rebuild in the same gottdamn place. It starts with construction. The cost of lumber has exploded the past 4 years…all that starts with energy.
You don’t build anything personally, you don’t seem like a DIY guy, but Im sure you have repairs done. Fencing, etc.

4x8 ply $50
These costs are unsustainable.
Things have to change….more options of insurance companies would help, it’s becoming like Airlines, pharma….not enough options kills competition, drives prices up.
