I spent too much of my day watching a program on the Egyptian pyramids. I have never been to the Middle East but I like the whole Pharaohs and pyramids thing. It’s interesting to me. If anyone has been to the valley of the kings, I would enjoy hearing what you thought of the experience. I hear there are a lot of scammers there taking advantage of tourists. Major turnoff for me.
In any case, this show I was watching was saying that they have no idea how the pyramids were built and that maybe aliens are responsible for building them. Then I thought, wait one freaking minute, I have been to a bunch of pyramids in Mexico. I climbed the big one at Chichen Itza, Yucatán, back when they still let you climb it. I also climbed a huge pyramid in a place called Uxmal, Yucatán. And the huge one in Teotihuacan (sp?) just outside of Mexico City, huge summabitch. Enormous. How come no one ever says the aliens might have built those? Hmmm.
Then I thought that every time I have done a roof or major construction job the contractor is white but about 30 Mexicans show up to do the work. They did my roof in two days. It all made sense to me , no one doubts Mexicans built those pyramids in Mexico because we seen them at construction sites. No, I'm not smoking weed, I haven’t done that in a looong time, but it sounds like something I might ponder while high. I wouldn’t post this anywhere but the wealth board since only about 5 of us stop by here.
I was also thinking, who was the genius that thought of putting the “S” in Fast Food? I mean that is freaking marketing brilliance. I hope that person got paid. Football off season is here and it’s too damn long.
Don’t forget to tip your waitress. I’ll be here all week.
Ha! Been watching the same shit. What I find fascinating is how precise these large stones are carved into blocks that perfectly fit to build these megalithic ancient structures.
Similar stonework is found all over the world including Mexico.
The theory I find interesting is they believe there was an ancient civilization that was wiped out around 11000-9600 BC during the last ice age that knew how to cut stone with such precision (Graham Hancock). This apocalyptic event forced people from a region, that new how to build this stonework, to spread to different areas. They taught hunter gatherers this technology and that explains why we see megalithic structures with similar stone work across the world. Although this notion explains how similar stonework is seen across the world, no one can explain how they did it. Is there lost technology we don't understand? Who knows.
great point
the Pharaohs were upset when they lost their slave labor, too
Mexican or no
just think, you may have to pay a neighborhood kid to mow your lawn and wash your Tesla
