The economic impact in agriculture and food services will be fascinating to watch, but construction hires more undocumented than many industries. This will be an interesting trend line to watch. You think construction is slow and expensive now? What will this do to prices and interest rates? I haven’t gotten that far yet and my rudimentary excel based model isn’t robust enough,
Imma gonna go ahead and take the under on that 20 mill tho. 🫡

Ballss, there are PLENTY of unemployed, low skill liberals out there that will be perfect for agriculture and food services.
If you want to see the economy take off? Increase deportations. And lower the minimum wage for those 16-18 and also 18-21.
I’d suggest $12 an hour for those 16-18 and $14 for those 18-21.
You’ll start a massive hiring wave of young people. Increase ambition opportunity and entrepreneurship among the young. Provide lots of incentive for employers to hire the less experienced. And give them a path to great earnings as they gain it.
You’ll also have an army of people able to do more menial basic tasks and an entire workforce of part time flexible labor
Worst mistake ca makes is to keep raising minimum wage. My company used to hire tons of kids. Now we don’t. That’s bad for our economy and our future
easy bet on the under
since Governors Newsom and Healy have already doubled down on sanctuary states in the last 24 hours
that has to good for 4+ million right there
This notion that the greatest country on the planet can’t get by without uneducated, unskilled workers is fucking wild.
It’s also racist.
You do understand citizens, including white folks will do these jobs…..just not for the under the table peanuts the illegals will do it for.
Incredible how you elitists view people.
looks like we go to full employment
and we will need to pull from the 100mm that aren't in the labor force
illegals are mostly doing unskilled labor like farm work, so we will only need unskilled people to backfill
for skilled labor like construction, I am sure there is some hidden talent in the 7mm unemployed and the 100mm not in the work force
no doubt there will be upward pressure on wages and benefits
but a much bigger effect will come from the work needed to repair the damage by the two hurricanes and when Trump restarts infrastructure and energy development
no doubt we will need to import labor, but the right way

Counterpoint: the left lanes will be solely for the fastest drivers, soccer will remain a dead sport, and we might have to learn the secrets of a lawnmower.
Exactly. NFW he deports 20 mil illegals. I’d be happy if he succeeded in rounding up all the illegals with any prior arrests, in or out of country. Next would be the ones who decided not to get a job while in my country. And finally, all the ugly women.
Not sure if there will be a priority of the illegals that got here during Biden's run. Many of those are not working or if they are it's selling drugs, prostitution, enforced property management lol, criminal enterprises.
This is all speculation. But I assume they will remove the swing state frequent fliers first. The ones that expand blue territory, possibly increasing House seats through sheer population growth in swing states.
Now where will I get my Bacon Wrapped hotdog cooked by candleheat on a grill made out of foil and a shopping cart?
