Lots of building and inventory . And good for news for Brad too, 40% of Americas inventory of homes growth came from building in Texas and Fla.

Jobless claims are out today, they exploded upwards. I think it’s hurricane related though, jobless claims always jump in areas hit by hurricanes or other natural disasters. I haven’t seen the geographic report on where claims jumped but i bet NC and Florida will lead the parade.

Inflation came in hot, but we can pretty much forget about 50 bps cuts, looks like more gradual cuts.

Hope so. Let's say prices go back down in Texas or any other state, , do the counties (in Texas) automatically lower reassessment values and the corresponding property taxes?

Or is it like in California where you have to petition for a reassessment ( they won't do it unless you petition for it in California. ) And then they fight you to keep the property taxes higher.

tip : Look at your property tax bill carefully, specifically the assessed value, you can challenge it if they overcharge you. If you don't challenge it, they will keep billing you at the higher value.
