But here is where the rat fucking is coming from. #1 target is 1031 exchanges. But the democrats and the IRS have always had a hard on for real estate investors . They can suk my balls thru my draws. I’m already ahead of them on that. By the way, I fought the IRS for 14 years on something. Fuck yeah, I played Conquest after we got done. They’re not as smart or tough as you might think. Still never want to tangle with them again. They extracted a few ounces of flesh but not the kilo they wanted. I declared a victory albeit a pyrrhic one.

May housing numbers are out today. Worst sales numbers in recorded history. take a second to process that, and a moment of silence to honor the corpse of the deceased housing market. Mortgage Backed Securities went No Bid, investors want a higher coupon, they are getting it But it’s still not moving the needle. Anyone with a brain is going to hold off on buying right now. it’s the smart move. My office mate listed a flip in La Mirada 3 weeks ago. Not even a call. The unprecedented rise in rates is doing it’s job. Lenders are switching to adjustable rate mortgages now to save loan volume. hahahahaha. stop digging people!! People are still arguing we won’t see a huge drop. I don’t know how we can avoid a crash. The inventory issue is going to be addressed by the recession. All the ingredients are there for a crash except rising unemployment . The Fed says, “hold my beer”. Rising rates, lower stocks and lower corporate revenues will lead to lower profits which will begin an unemployment wave. It’s what the Fed wants / needs To stop inflation, people out of work. liquidity in the mortgage market will be drying up in the next few months. It’s going to be harder to qualify for a mortgage loan. More people out if work to defeat inflation. Gotta start cutting off limbs to save the patient.

the missing ingredient is unemployment and that will come with the drop in GDP, falling revenues and stocks.

in 2008 Bernanke rescued the mortgage market with the announcement that the FEd would engage in quantitative easing and buy mortgage backed securities, today the exact opposite happened and the mortgage markets are being blown up by the FED stepping away from QE. They have to as a way to fight inflation .
