When does the Tesla honeymoon end?

Up 37% since Election Day. Less than a week. Elon has added $90 bil to his wealth

None of it based on company performance. All speculation. I need it to come down to reasonable levels and stay there a few months. I’d gladly take $320. Calls are killing me here

On Monday, Tesla shorts were down $8.72 billion in mark-to-market losses since Nov. 4, according to data analytics firm S3 Partners. Before the post-election rally, Tesla stock had lagged the S&P 500 (^GSPC) and trailed each of its "Magnificent Seven" peers year to date.

"We expect continued short covering in TSLA stock due to the rally induced short squeeze which will force out many of the 2.4 million shares we saw shorted over the last month," S3 Partners head of predictive analytics Ihor Dusaniwsky told Yahoo Finance.”

“Tesla stock (TSLA) gained another 10% on Monday, sending shares to their highest level since early 2022 and giving the company a market cap north of $1.1 trillion amid optimism that the electric vehicle maker will be a big winner under the Trump administration.

"We are raising our price target on Tesla to $400 from $300 as we believe the Trump White House win will be a gamechanger for the autonomous and AI story for Tesla and Musk over the coming years," Wedbush analysts led by Dan Ives wrote in a new note to clients on Monday.”

Up BIG again today. I need to revise my prediction of $500p/s. It’s @347 today. It’s got more room to run Java. Crazy.

It took me 7 years to save my first $100,000 now I can make multiples of that in one day.

Stocks are predicated on fundamentals. Making money or the immediate future possibilities of doing so. Nothing has suddenly changed on Teslas landscape.

Space x. If that’s the bet of government contracts. Isn’t Tesla.

So I don’t see the sudden surge other than fanboy sticking tonthe man game players on Reddit. And if so this is going to have a very hard landing. Get your money while you can

It’s down today. Profit taking happening before the next surge. Trees don’t always grow towards the sky. (Hey that’s a good title for a book or movie). Stock surged on sentiment but I think it was being unjustly punished before the election. The CEO of Tesla just got the next president of the US elected and everyone suspects a deal is in place. A deal that gives Musk a lot of power. Everything has suddenly changed in the Tesla landscape.

Hoping people get their heads about them and there won't be a next surge. Irrational exuberance or panic either one is bad for the market. Also bad for my ability to systemically make money. Now I have my calls of Tesla locked up till Jan and March thanks to these Reddit idiots.

Musk having power doesn't necessarily affect Tesla. The power he gets will probably allow him special exemptions to import all the Chinese Teslas he wants
