This looks like it:
1. Shohei Ohtani, DH
2. Mookie Betts, SS
3. Freddie Freeman, 1B
4. Teoscar Hernández, RF
5. Max Muncy, 3B
6. Will Smith, C
7. Michael Conforto, LF
8. Tommy Edman, SS
9. Gavin Lux, 2B
Good but 5-9 are all question marks they could be good or terrible. Teo might come back down to earth. Muncy hit .163 in postseason. Freeman is 35 and is coming off his worst year since 2015.
You have two SS and no CF. And allegedly Betts is playing 2B. Lux isn't playing SS. Edman can play CF
That's a weak SS with Betts. But that is a solid lineup. Lux will have his best year. Smith needs more breaks and I wonder if they can DH him when Shohei pitches. Maybe DH for the catcher?
Conforto is ok. Not work the money. Edman is a professional hitter and far better at 8 than CHris Taylor. Muncy is a huge OBA guy. Lot of walks and then hits .200 with 30 HR. Sounds like Dave Kingman with walks to me. Not a huge fan He's a lefty. That helps.
Wonder what they will do about Kike and if they are serious about Arrenado. And what if anything they will do about the young CF guys and Taylor. Taylor is a legit SS and CF But the bat is awful
