I don't know what the Dodgers do make almost every player better in their uniform, including in mideason trades, but it works. I know you're kinda implying they use some secrete sauce(i'm sure they do) but it doesn't explain in-season trade players ascent as soon as they don Dodger blue.
At same time, we can put up a graph for Segar, Bellinger and Justin Turner who seem to be doing pretty well without the Dodgers. Ok, I'm just being onery here. 😂
That being said, I am a family friend of someone who has a son in The bigs right now. High high draft pick. Local kid who was former CA POY...had some serious health issues and he's worked his way back. He's basically been a journeyman spot starter. He's now with the Phillies at mlb level. He was with the Dodgers about half a season this year and said unquestionably they were the best staff and organization he's ever been a part of. He's been with Boston, the White Sox and overseas as well.
Stupid. First. Those are very selective stats. Next. It doesn't address people like Craig Kimbrel, or Noah Syndergaard, who are complete failures with the Dodgers. Or people like Trayce Thompson, who were good for a month and then reverted back to mediocre status. Or Chris Taylor, who is a cheap pick up did well for them for a few years and is now capable of 200 strikeouts if he played full-time
Fact is. Kike has always been able to pound left handers and hit fast balls. The national league is more of a fastball league. And the Dodgers are smart enough to platoon him while Boston used him full-time because that's what he signed for Dodgers used him as a part time player for a reason and now they are again. Rosario is similar. He hits lefties well.
Jason heyward isn't exactly a rescue. He wouldn't be missed. Jd martinis was hurt last year. He's a legit hitter. Always has been.
Lance Lynn won the freaking cy young in 2021. He's in a new league where guys are seeing him for the first time. So I don't want to minimize what he has done. But there is an advantage to freshness. He would not have this ERA going through the league in a second time. That's why you see so many rookies come up and take the league by storm but disappear a month later. Lynn is a pro. And they got lucky. What they had hoped to have happen with Noah. Try enough times and you will get lucky. Mark Pryor is an excellent pitching coach so the Dodgers will try to do things to change your pitch selection or your sequencing. Some guys it works. Some don't
Point is. La isn't magic. They trade for enough guys. They use guys in platoon situations. And they have a pitching coach who makes changes. So they aren't just bringing in guys and asking them to do the same thing in the same roles that they had previously.

This is good intel.
