Anthony rendon or Davis? This is too funny

Rendon. Who averages 51 games a year for the Angels as part of a $248 million contract. One in which he is paid $38 million a year. Has waited until the first day of spring training to decide to have hip surgery.

Meaning he will miss a “significant number of games”

This guy has had all last season. Where he did nothing. 5 months of off season. And now when it’s time to go to work. Now he gets the surgery on company time.

I’m not sure if he’s unlucky. Lazy. Faking it or a selfish turd. Maybe he’s all of the above. I feel bad for the angels.

quite possibly the worst contract of all time. Any bothers worse? I mean Josh Hamilton? Price fielder? I’m pretty sure that at least the teams got some production for a time from those guys.

That reminds me. Is Josh Hamilton dead yet? I keep expecting his name and Todd Marinovich to hit the obits. Have been for the last decade

When it comes down to getting my grandsons ready for the next baseball season I’m a lot like this guy:

Our oldest grandson hit .463 last year-all of 2024. His younger brother

hit .436 for all of ‘24. Both will be their teams #1 pitcher this year. They throw a 4 seamer, 2 seamer and splitter with the same arm slot. No curves or sliders! The oldest started throwing a cutter last July in pitching lessons. The one to watch for is our 5 year old grandson. His dad (former UCLA baseball player) is the manager and he coaches with a buddy who played at UCSB. Should be fun.

I think is was his unwillingness to play when he could and then rip on the Angels saying they would never win anything. Angels won World Series the year after he left. sc

Josh Hamilton was the redneck, Drug addict Shohei before Shohei. That kind of athlete. Big, fast, powerful and Threw 95 mph as a high schooler.

I don’t recall a stage diving thing. Not an AL fan which is why I pretty much missed Hamilton career too
