Wife went to yesterday's game with her daughter. Lot of fun. Atl came in with one of the best differentials in BB, Dodgers left at #1. Dodgers are now 1.5 games out from MLB best record but looks like they are playing as well as anyone.
Treinan looked good. Buhler is back today. Phillips is on extended rest. Not needed but is a 40 man roster move IMO.
Andy Pages hit another HR this weekend. DOdgers rolling 5 in a row
So far the relief staff as held up nicely. We have a ton of pitching injuries, even with Beuhler and Treinan back. The Dodgers have their top four relievers from 2023 down with injuries: Graterol(shoulder), Brasier(calf), Phillips(hamstring)and now Kelly(shoulder). All are due back from mid may to late May. Brasier should be back the soonest.
We still have the longer term injuries to starters:
Bobby Miller(shoulder inflammation): Probably early June
Kershaw(shoulder): After all star break
Sheehan(forearm): No forecast for him yet. Sounds like they're trying to rest to keep it from needing TJ surgery. Forearm tightness and soreness is the first warning sign for possible TJ
May(flexor surgery): He's 10 months out of surgery. So expect him in 2025, maybe late in year as reliever if lucky
Gonsolin(TJ): Had surgery in Sep so he'll most certainly be back somewhere in 2025, maybe not with Dodgers
