My April advice was don't trade him. It wasn't to throw him in the rotation after an injury. Duh. i love young pitching. If up to me, I would never trade it. Then again, LA traded that guy we all liked. Asian kid to the Jays I think. White was his name? Nothing much happened with him after
Third is a lost year. Not sure why they didn’t see this in the rehab assignment and why they thought it would improve at mlb. It hasn’t. Get him to the minors and let him work it out. They have more injuries than you can shake a stick at
He turned 25 today. While he’s improved over last year, I’m more concerned with the location of roughly 1/3 of his fastballs. His 2 seamer has a little too much movement at times. He’ll improve that over time with additional game reps. I’d love to see him throw it lower in the zone. His curve has definitely improved.
The CRAZY winds of Chicago rival the old Candlestick Park in SF. Four Dodger line drives today would have gone out if they were hit in Los Angeles. Ohtani was surprised his liner didn’t carry.
So many fans get caught up with velocity. I’d rather take a quick ground ball out, especially with the left side of the Dodger infield. I would love for our starters to throw six innings with a pitch count under 72. We’ll see.
Consider this…the LAD signed him to a ONE YEAR contract for $750k. Sign him SOON or he’s out of here!

Why is he in the majors? Is anyone in the Dodgers organization paying attention?
They don’t have one starter in the minors who can do better than this?
