A few years ago when Manny Machado was a Dodger rental he led team in rbis (not batting average) but Java kept saying he sucks. He may have had an error or two as Java so of course he said he sucks as a defender although he has won a Gold Glove.
Anyhoos. I was cracking up about Javas insistence that I dont Know baseball (sound familiar??) and that rbi’s are a useless oldschool stat that are more about where you bat in the lineup. As a kid cheering on my fav player to knock in the winning run I always felt rbis were important. Java proceeded to explain to me how this is very outdated thinking. While Dodgers were in playoffs.
I thought a funny comment was to bet Java that the team With the most rbi’s would
Win. He didnt take the bet. 🤔
Here is the request. I can remember someone telling Java to stop With the rbi argument since I was kicking his ass with it.
Since then Java doenst Seem to recall this argument EITHER.
CAN I GET A WITNESS??? Who was it that told Java to stand down? Anyone want to stand for the truth and the 1st Amendment here. As an American.
PT, it has been a long-standing board tradition that no one should jump in when two guys are in a mano a mano. Jumping in and shanking someone from behind with a shiv is frowned upon.
It is a very moving call for help,” Anyone want to stand for the truth and the 1st Amendment here. As an American.” I took off my hat and put my right hand on my chest. USA! USA!
I have seen other guys call for help only to be met with silence.
Circle the wagons and fight the best you can.
