Don't agree. Better to let a guy go too early than too late. La got a nice draft pick for him. And i assume he signed a 3-4 year deal.

Fenway Park is much morse RBI friendly. I remember when Yastremski, Conigliaro, Fred Lynn, George Scott and Butch Hobson.......to Big Poppy....etc.....always way up there in the 100+ RBI level.

The bet was JD vs JT, one year vs three year contract. JD's numbers are actually a little better overall, but they're pretty close. Dodgers keeping 2024 payroll as lean as possible for Ohtani. JT was an unfortunate cut since he was looking for three years. He'll back in the organization eventually I believe.

Jt is not playing 3b for Boston. He's at first. Not sure he's healthy enough for 500 an already if he plays 3b. He's 39. That's not a good bet Great guy. Legendary dodger. But la was getting old. Needed to move to youth.

They brought up Miggy who didn't get it done. Supposed to have Lux too. Jt was injured and ineffective for two years. Dodgers couldn't get over the hump. So if you can't do it with aging vets you go cheaper and younger.
