Tyler Glasnow
Yamamamamoto
Bobby Miller
Walker Buehler but he's a FA this year. Don't see him signing a big $ deal with his recovery. I see him signing a one year prove it deal with LA
Shoehei Ohtani
Clayton Kershaw is window decoration and likely a 5th starter hanging around hoping someone else will win him a ring that he earned from 2010 to about 2020
Tony Gonsolin? Not sure he was that great to begin with. He's cheap and Dodgers have him under team control until 2027. Fun fact, he sends Dick pics to my wife's hot blonde friend but I don't think he knows she's like 45. He's about 26. Probably sends him pics with filters. Trevor Bauer says Hi Tony.
Dustin May-not counting on anything at this point.
Paxton is a one year rental he gone.
Landon Knack? Emmet Sheehan? What do you do with all the arms ahead of these two? IMO Gonsolin becomes Ross Stripling. Decent moments, trade bait, affordable contract. But how much value can you get for an injured guy coming off rehab? And when can you trade him? Answer: when he proves it in spring training or April of next year. Problem is that's late to be trying to add pieces to your club.
Dodgers with Knack, Sheehan, May, Gonsolin look like they could field two full starting rotations for most teams. All quality arms. Glasnow Yamaha aren't going anywhere due to contracts. Kershaw due to iconic status, and Miller due to age and contract. I assume Ohtani will pitch again and he isn't departing. So that's 5 guys locked in. Buehler could leave via FA this year. Gonsolin, May, Knack and Sheehan all under team control. Maybe you keep them all because look at 2024. 5 of them are on long term DL. Ohtani, Gonsolin, Sheehan, Kershaw, and May. And Miller hurt too. Shoot, Glasnow is due to be hurt. He's thrown like 30 innings. Time to DL him.
That's a lot of arms. Does make me wonder what they could get in return for Sheehan, Knack, Miller. I know, you don't trade young hot arms. But man they do look loaded for awhile.
