Dodgers sweep the Nats

I’m dealing with that right now with my son. Kid is #1 pitcher for his travel ball team and starts HS in Sept. He’s 14 and standing slightly over 5’9 so unless he grows a little, he might be playing a little more at SS next season,,, we’ll see. Kids are big these days…. Kid just blew up in hoops travel this year and dominated his middle school league at PG. Might be his best sport, but he’s really excelling at football (QB) and baseball. If he doesnt start growing (he needs more LBs as well, but solid muscle from head to toe), we hope to eventually drop football and stick with hoops and baseball. Probably in for a fight on that issue. He got banged up in football last year. More than half of the plays were designed qb runs and his OLine was ,,, not good. Even had a concussion each of the last two seasons. It’s concerning but like I said, he’s fighting really hard to play fb.

F*cking scary. I did not know until he made that play, but the Dodger announcers said that Yamo won gold gloves(or the equivalent) in Japan. That would have been multiple months out if it his head. Whew.
