Dodgers trade Pollock to White Sox

for closer, Craig Kimbrel. Straight up trade, no cash or any other side deal included.

I really hope Kimbrel can get back to his old form and developed more consistency. As far as Pollock, good luck IMO. Maybe the most non clutch hitter I’ve ever seen play the game. A handful of surprisingly clutch hits first half of ‘21 season, then back to old form in 2nd half. If the Dodgers were up by more than 5 runs with Buehler on the mound, Pollock would have a multi HR game.

AJ will be absolutely fantastic for the white sox in April June August and parts of October. You can absolutely coun on him to produce for you. Every day. 88 days a year

@Java So AJ in game 1 for the WS: 3 hits, which was great, but he couldn’t make a play in left which ended up costing the WSox the ballgame. I think he pulled a hamstring in game 2 and is now out for a few games. Also (LOL), he will be on “maternity leave” this week.

If anyone here has followed the Dodgers closely for the past 3 years, you know how inconsistent this guy really is. Bottom line the guy loads up on stats in bunches. Ive seen him too many times NOT get it done. Last year was his best season as a dodger, but still choked in the clutch
