So they traded two young hitters at class an and Miguel Vargas, who is MLB ready for a P with an ERA of 4.67. Having released Paxton who they’ve already paid who had an ERA of 4.5. Got nothing for him.

Should have thrown him into one of those deals since they’ve already paid for him

But here’s the key. They gave all that up. And I’m not saying it was a tremendous amount, but they gave up a young prospect who can play third base and the outfield and a little bit of second base they gave him up to a guy who can do what Chris Taylor And Kike Hernandez are supposed to be doing but hit so poorly that they really can’t afford to have one or the other or both in the lineup

They threw him away. If you’re going to throw anyone away throw away Taylor and throw away Hernandez because this guy coming in is being brought in to do what they have failed to do.

Their problem is that they combine low average with low on base with low power. And in the past, both of them have had low to moderate average. Pretty decent power. And not much in terms of on base average because neither of them walk very much. Chris Taylor strikes out more times per at that than anyone. I think I’ve seen since Dave Kingman, the amazing thing about it is he’s a small little guy who should be a contact hitter and slapping the ball somewhere. He’s also a horrific and has been asked to do it twice this year. One time costing the Dodgers game because he couldn’t get a ball. Down couldn’t move the runner over in extra innings and as a result, the Dodgers did not score. The other team did the bottom of the inning.other game he also failed, but I think somebody else picked them up or an extra innings and all was forgotten. Except by me.

There goes one target. I wonder if this means the Dodgers are more involved with the White Sox with OF Luis Robert and/or pitcher Crochet.
