I guess Truck stop's sparkling 12-18 regular season record in the Pac was the deciding factor. And USC's 9-4 record to end the season was a deal killer. At least all 27 SEC teams got in. I wonder if the Pac-12 was in on the going away present. But who's bitter?
agree. AZ should not have gotten a bid unless they had defeated UO for the tourney title. Their bats got hot at the right time and taking 2 of 3 from USC helped them.
USC did themselves no favors on the road this year. Got work on that and being a lot tougher mentally...
ASU was overrated this season. Getting swept by both Stanford (in Tempe) and USC (in LA) exposed them.
