USC has series wins over stanford (who won the conference this weekend), ASU, Oregon, UCLA, among others. Only lost series were sweeps by UDub and OSU. With a possible sweep vs a down AZ next weekend, USC could finish in second place going into the P12 tourny. Beyond a solid turnaround this year for Andy Stankewizc. USC could have another great coach at last.
I'll be curious where USC goes in the Regionals. With any luck they will get a west coast regional. Probably a second or third seed.
This one has USC the #3 seed at Kentucky. https://www.nola.com/sports/colleges/ncaa-baseball-projections-lsu-dips-florida-clemson-surge/article_a8963df6-f34f-11ed-aaf4-e77747f2f827.html
This one from before the ASU sweep has USC at South Carolina. https://www.collegesportsmadness.com/baseball/bracketology
I read where no PAC team has missed the postseason with at least 17 conference wins. They're one win away.
USC was a bubble team, prior to the sweep of a top 20 ASU team. Assuming USC gets in, it’ll be at an east coast location like Gainesville.
