5* big man Adem Bona (ranked the #10 recruit overall) committed to UCLA this Monday morning. It came down to the BRUINS and Kentucky for this recruit. AB joins 5* combo guard (6’5” 210) Amari Cooper (who is ranked anywhere from the #1-3 overall recruit) and 4* PG Dylan Andrews (6’4” 190). UCLA is still in the hunt for (6’8” 210) SF Mark Mitchell and other recruits.
He gets to go against USC’s 5* Big.

Can UCLA go Final 4, NCAA Champs in 2022 and NCAA champs in 2023 with this team? I don't see anybody that can play with these guys... Sheeeet, UCLA had 3 guys out last year and still went Final 4... BTW, why isn't that loser Chris Smith playing? He could have come back right?

Five-star big man Adem Bona’s basketball journey has already taken him from his home in Nigeria, to Turkey and to Napa (Calif.) Prolific Prep. On Monday, he announced where his next step will take him.
“I’ve decided that I will be attending UCLA next year,” Bona told 247Sports. “This was a really difficult decision and I had to choose between two great schools in UCLA and Kentucky. They are two of the greatest schools in college history with great coaches and great programs. It came down to where I felt like I could get more opportunity to get to the next level and where I could get better.
“It was very tough for me picking one school over the other, so I just had to make the tough choice.”
A big-time athlete with pro level strength and athleticism, 247Sports currently ranks Bona No. 10 nationally in the class of 2022. He is perhaps the best shot blocker in the class, rebounds at a high level and is a powerful finisher around the rim. He says that UCLA will be a good fit for him.
Funny but I could a sh!t what he looks like if we keep going back to the final four and land 5* recruits.
