Really smart take here. They do have a good track record With some diamonds in the rough.

Ball and Skinny kid from Duke (pelican now?) are panning out in league too. DeAngelo Russell is solid?? B- Maybe.

Issue is those high picks were not Franchise makers Or true difference makers. They were solid pieces but not the guy. Hence they had to ship them off for Top 5 difference guys. One Bubble ring later says they were right??

But yeah payback is a bitch.

Shame the Lakers trade all their draft picks and young players away. Whoever is scouting for them is doing a GREAT job. Horton Tucker. Caruso. Reaves. Kuzma. Zubic. All low first round, 2nd round or undrafted guys who are far more valuable than their draft position. Of course also all guys LA just pissed away and got nothing for. LA is doing an amazing job scouting and their front office is wasting their talents and those of the guys they pick up. A good GM would have mined those guys to restock their draft positions or even worked them into the bench and lineup. Rob Lowe sucks as a GM.
