That being said….USC obviously couldn‘t do it...
UCLA’s strengths are shooting and coaching (good ones to have).

Agree with some of that but I wouldn’t call UCLA short. Myles is a 7 footer and Cody is close to 6-10 , Nwuba 6-10 but against a frontline like Zona it’s tough. Two 7 plus footers and another 6-11 is a problem for any team. UCLA was right there and blew a big opportunity IMO when they didn’t pressure the ball more when both the Zona guards had 4 fouls. The other PG is on crutches so who’s left to bring the ball up court. Dumb on Cronin‘s part. Ucla up by 12 in the 2nd half didn’t take their time running the offense with a lot of motion instead they hurriedly launched 3’s that missed ( 5 of 22) and that led to easy transition baskets for Zona and let them right back in the game. Dumb on Cronin’s part. That along with your 2 bigs on the bench in foul trouble ball game over.
