Oregon should have been placed in the South region. There were ZERO Pac 12 teams in that bracket. There is no good explanation why USC and Oregon had to play each other in the same region. Also, UCLA and Colorado were in the same region, and could have potentially played each other in the Great 8. Of course the NCAA committee had no idea that the PAC 12 teams would do this well, but, USC and Oregon (the 2 best teams in the PAC) should not have been any where near each other.

Trojans sweep the pac 12 champs(*asterik) this season. Congrats to the pac 12 on the tourney showing. Earned some respect. bruins, beaver, and Trojans continue the campaign. Fight on, beat the zags.

Classy post LA Duck. USC’s 3-2 zone version is a tough matchup for you guys. The camera angles last night really showed that. Wish we were beating an ACC team last night.

Agreed, classy post LAD. I think basketball is often a game of matchups, and this was a tough matchup for Oregon as they rely a lot on their guards to slash to the basket and make plays. That's tough to do with the Mobley's, and unless you can hit the outside shots SC stays in the zone and puts a lid on the basket.

Aside from their sheer talent, this is why Gonzaga is a difficult matchup: they spread the floor and have three outstanding shooters. If Gonzaga hits their outside shots - as they have all year long - then SC will be forced to go to man. I think a lot will be expected of Max A this game, and expect his minutes to increase as SC tries to defend the perimeter. The nice thing about SC's zone is how aggressive their d is on the wings. This gives me a glimmer of hope. It's a tough matchup though anyway you slice it.

Enfield just bought himself 2-3 more years, regardless if USC goes done to Gonzaga.

Enfield finished 2nd in the pac 2 years ago, no ncaa bid. Last year, tourney canx no bid. This is his third good team in a row. He has been doing a good job for a few years. AE is now 4th at SC in all time wins.
