In the first 10 minutes of last nights game UCLA was 3 for 18 and Gonzaga was 10 for 12. UCLA missed 25 of their first 31 shots. In the final 30 minutes the game was essentially even.
I'm going to have to endure hearing about that fucking string bean freshman all year long just because he's from Minnesota. All of the yokels around here are going to be talking about him every second, just because he's a homegrown kid. They'll bring up this UCLA game, and the whole thing is going to suck.
Of course, I'll get some satisfaction by asking simple questions, ones that are often asked every year: "Why can't the U (of Minnesota) keep their best athletes in-state? Why isn't that kid playing for the Gophers?"
That always pisses them off but all I get is crickets in response.
