3 titles and just 2 losses at UCLA is mind blowing and amazing. It always takes a minute to sink in when it comes to KAJ. If freshmen were eligible back then you know it would have been 4 titles. That frosh team he was on beat the varsity in a scrimmage game that ended up winning the NC.

My uncle Kenny Hetiz was on that team.. he was drafted to Bucks behind Kareem.. Kenny went to Harvard instead of NBA and earned more dough than all those fools.
my point, you are right... that's the freshman team that beat the national champs... amazing..
Kenny always guarded the best player on other team, had a lot of rebounds, etc. Funny part is they were so good Kenny said he had more fun winning LA City adult league when he was 45 with some of the old guys on his team than the natty's... They were underdogs and beat some high flying, show boaters...
Np. Keep Doing it your way....👍👍
Yes Sir, I have written on the blackboard 500 x after school “ I SHALL NOT BE DISRESPECTFUL TO MY TEAMMATES” may I be excused now. PS even though it was a very very long long long long long long time ago.
I don’t think You should disrespect his teammates by forgetting their contributions. as good as KAJ was, a very very very long time ago, he couldnt do it alone. That was my point.
Ok I’ll deal. Mike Warren, Lucius Allen, Lyn Shackelford, Kenny Heitz, Mike Lynn, and Edgar Lacey were the main guys as Wooden rarely played more than 6 of 7 players. I believe in Kareem’s senior year he played with sophomores Wicks, Rowe, Patterson and Vallely.
Yes please. I need 4.
Would you like me to name the other 4 UCLA players he played with just to make you happy?
He played 1 on 5 did he????? that must have been interesting To watch
