Somehow I'm more nervous about 5 seed Oregon playing 12 seed Liberty on Friday than I was with AP 8 Oregon playing AP 23 (undefeated) Liberty in the 2024 Fiesta Bowl.....lol. (Final score was 45-6).
You really pulling for the big ten? Ducks aren’t real members and never will be. Just like Utah and CU were never real members of the PAC. No one thought of them that way.
Same with the west coast teams in the big ten. Especially when 3 of them begged their way into it. Two taking half shares for six years.
How are you relating to Rutgers, Purdue, Minnesota. Zero in common. Fit like a square peg into a round hole.
Traveling 3x miles for road events.
How many away Duck games have you been to? How was that away basketball game on the East Coast. How much did that cost you. How was the weather in January?
Gave up playing on the road in the Bay Area, AZ for what? It’s not like the Ducks are better in any sport than before ? The money coming in is the same.
The only worst decision is Calfurd in the ACC. lol. 😂. Yeah, how’s that working out. ?
No, I’m not pulling for any other big ten teams. Could care less how they do.
I never ever thought I would pull for Michigan but today I was pulling for Michigan over Texas A&M. Part of that reason is a distaste for the SEC.
But whether you and I like it or not, we are in the Big 10, at least for now. Might as well enjoy the ride. I think both Oregon and USC are going to be fine. Not so sure about UCLA and Washington. You have Nike money and USC can raise money like crazy when needed. The new $150 million dollar football facility attests to that and another $75 million is being spent on a first class facility for wonens soccer and lacrosse and a rebuild of Dedeaux Field as well as other upgrades, 75% paid for. USC does a great job of not having to borrow money for its facilities. It’s pay as you go.
