@ATLBRUIN my close friends played for Art Reichle...on one of his few teams that ever beat Dedeaux. My closest friend was recruited by Wooden...and Denny Crum....but he went elsewhere.

@ATLBRUIN Shoot, I knew someone who went to COLLEGE with Wooden. Called him Johnny. When they ran into each other at a book signing in oh, maybe 2000 or so? either he or someone else joked that she might be the only one left on the planet who was allowed to call him that.

@ATLBRUIN Lot of the usual wannabe USC brain trust isn't over here. Two of the trannies are USC "football fans" only. Real athletic supporters there. So I wouldn't assume many of the people you see there would ever be here.

Couple of them are just front runners who latched on to USC when they were good in football and their dad bought them a T shirt. Thus the name T Shirt Trojans. USC was never premier in hoops so I would guess anyone who posts on USC basketball here is truly a Trojan. Real Trojan I would think after all those years to do that here you'd have to be.

Remember I always said USC basketball was two steps forward and 3 steps back. This was through Raveling, Bibby, Kevin Whats his name. Floyd. So this era is certainly unique to be competitive consistently
