I don't give a shit where they're seeded as long as they end up out west. If they win the conference (still an "if") and wind up in the east, that's total bullshit.

Of course he’s not wrong. If UCLA takes care of business against Utah and Colorado and then sweeps the AZ schools at home they are in the West regionals.

This preview BS is based on the fact Ucla is 4-4 in Quad 1 games and AZ is 6-2. Also the only top 25 team Ucla has beaten is Maryland. Despite the fact Ucla will win the Pac12 this is the garbage the committee takes into consideration.

Honestly, I don't think it's garbage. UCLA has looked really good at times, and not so good at other times. I think 4-4 against quad one teams is okay, but 6-2 is better. If UCLA beats Arizona, then I think they deserve to be in the West and/or have a higher seeding. But going 4-0 the remainder of the season is going to be a tall order.

That said, I think UCLA is probably being penalized for losing to Illinois and Baylor at the beginning of the season, even though the Bruins are a much better team right now.
