First, did you realize that maybe Jaquez didn't commit to Cinn. at the time because he was made aware there would be a coaching change and one of the two candidates for the UCLA job was Cronin or Jamie Dixon. When it went to Mick, Jaquez was all in.
Second, there is no guaranteed floor time with Mick regardless of who you are, it has to be earned. I'm sure you watched Jaquez over the years enough to know he gives 100% at both ends on the floor and that's why he was a starter.
Lastly " why are you such a nut hugger for Cronin" those are your words not mine, well.. he does a good job of developing talent, and I think this current team will be his biggest challenge. He's got a really young team with 7 freshmen that are not seasoned or fundamentally sound at this point . It's his job to coach them up and get the right combination which I believe he will do. Let's see what happens when we get deeper into the year.
Nothing has changed for Arizona. They've always paid players. They just don't openly now. UCLA is having to adapt to the new rules because other more honest programs are paying guys ucla might have otherwise gotten. It's why you see ucla and Oregon and other schools able to challenge them. Zona always thought elite kids. Who then laid down like dogs and choked out every March
Ides of March. It's truth. I don't believe they're paying anyone, but who knows? There's not enough people of a city of 1 million selling tacos or deisel to support a ncaa bball team.
Ucla is a choice team, since he was recruited by the dumbass, he was going to get floor time. any sane person wouldn't have transferred. Why are you such a nut hugger for cronin? Now answer my question.
So what, Alford was fired in 2018. Jaquez came in 2019 so why didn't he transfer if Alford was that big of a deal? Mick coached and developed Jaime into the player you see today.
Chome dome recruited him at cincy and he didn't go. still butthurt after the CS Pacoima loss?. Adults are talking here, go back to the kids table. The guy sucks as a coach and no one (two words) likes playing for him, fisthump
Oh boy..... let me help you out here.

He's entertaining to watch in a what-will-he-do-next sort of way.
I feel bad for the kids that play for him. Seems like a very un-ucla type coach
