What's amazing is winning 7 National Championships in a row! The only interruption in winning 10 of those Titles was 66 & 74. Another mind blower is Bill Walton's HS team went 73-0 before starting at Center for UCLA where his teams won 2 NC's going 88-0 before finally losing a game. SMH
Personally the greatest Final Four games I ever witnessed was 1975 with Ucla beating Louisville in OT and then Kentucky for the Title.

cheating paid off for Saint John Wooden
64 team was the greatest ever...no one over 6'5" starting and the implementation of the full court press by UCLA which turned games around against larger more talented teams. Not one superstar to ride on but a great team with guys that played and stuck together...ost of the other UCLA teams except 65 had at least ne superstar player and in many cases three or four but not those two teams......never forget Gail Goodrich's game against Michigan with Cazzie Russell and Bil Bunton he put on a show
Good update on Bruin Basketball aka Tales from the Crypt….
