One of my favorite stories was the valedictorian of my HS making a fiery speech at graduation directing barbs at President Reagan for calling either US or CA educational system "mediocre" and Kim built up to her final moment where she said "And we will go prove to the world and President Reagan that we are NOT Mediocre" except she pronounced it "medi-ocker" Like soccer.
I noticed it only, but my mom howled with glee, observing that she had made the President's point
