How bizarre. The ball is just bouncing on the floor while everyone looks at it and the guy closest to it can’t touch it. And the clock runs out.

I think getting a shot off or passing to teammate were each blocked off. He should've bounced it off a defender, at least, so he could throw it towards the basket before time expired.

I think he thought it would be traveling if he touched it. But it was blocked, so it was a free ball.
You should know the rules of the game you play.
That was strange. Houston never got a shot off on their final two possessions, turning it over both times.
