DeRozan traded to the Kings in a multi-team deal. Jeannie and Pelinka too incompetent to lure any of the top free agents, and now they're stuck with dead weight D'angelo, Max Christie & Schifino. No proven center to back up AD. Reddish and Vanderbilt are good wing defenders that come cheap. Hachi is ok. Gabe Vincent and Dinwiddie are decent defensive guards. These guys were hurt for long stretches of last season. If healthy, the Lakers can run it back, but Redick needs to limit the minutes of weak-ass defenders like Christie and Russell. Hopefully, Knecht will fit in somewhere and become an offensive force. He's a keeper. We're going to find out about Redick early on. Is he the genius wonder-boy as Jeannie says, or is he just another one of Jeannie's pretty boys.
Lebron signed full max today. Which means Pelinka struck out on all MLE possibilities a Lebron paycut would have afforded. So no MLE, almost no possibility for upgrade with trade now they're at the 2nd apron(bew CBA rule).
Lakers dumped cash on Bronny which is throwing money away...they should have shipped them both off to someone stupid enough to take them....worst management in basketball...
