One thing I miss about this whole run around launch 3 point basketball is the role of the big man

UConn goes after Edey and he rejects! Then. Gets it back. Goes inside . Rejects again!!! Then goes down seven footer on seven footer, and he abuses the uconn guy covering him. That is just tremendous. Love seeing this been a lot of years since we’ve seen basketball played out of the post.

I still think Yukon wins because I think their guards are better. But I love seeing this guy Zack, Edey rise to the occasion and try to carry his team. This looks like a really good game.

Unfortunately the highlight of Purdue’s night.

Purdue played ok. They needed to play great to win. Didnt happen.

Uconn is 6-0 in NC games.

No, the Purdue highlight of the night, of the year in CBB, was the put back dunk by the white guy. That was incredible.

UConn is too good. Expected result, too many weapons. Dan Hurley two in a row, that is quite impressive.

Yeah UConn tried something gutsy. Mostly they went 1-1 with edey and let him get his. And he destroyed them. And if the game were played for 60

Minutes pursue wins because UConn’s whole team fouls out.

However. It’s not 60. It’s 40. And edey got his and the rest of the UConn team just ate Purdue up.

I thought it could have been closer if the refs had called fouls when Purdue guards went down low or drive the lane. They really got beat up. That charge the Purdue kid took that was called a block was criminal.

Even had those gone Purdue’s way I think it just becomes a close game. UConn really has an amazing run there. 6-0. 3 different coaches. Unreal.

Refs really allowing a lot of contact in the paint. Purdue’s guards try to drive and are getting pounded 80s style. UConn is winning at the edge of the paint. They drive. Pull up. Avoid Edey and drill 15 footers. All night.
