Yep, two vastly underperforming teams. Not sure if there's more to it than that?
Being an "absolut" homer, I'm going to say it's because Oregon has suffered a catastrophic number of injuries this season (sort of a trend for my quacks). We are a veritable M*A*S*H unit. So not hitting the panic button just yet.
Been tough the last 3 seasons....got the wind kicked out of our sails with perhaps the best tourney team we've had under Altman only to get 86'ed due to the no-tourney COVID year, and we haven't recovered since.
I think I need a shot....or three.....to toast to next year in the B1G.
Happy for Arizona they got what they wanted moving to the big 12.
That’s because the Pac12 tournament is just Overkill, always has been. These same teams play each other all season long, and Ariz already won the conference title a week ago, now go do it again in Vegas what for? No one cares.
BTW , Ali Farhang is a Tucson native, founder of the Ariz bowl, and is a huge Wildcat honk, so of course he would post something like that. “Ariz carried your water for years” it’s been 23 years and counting since you made a Final Four.
