went on a buying spree in the off season. Raided the UsC roster. Brought in a ton of fresh new talent. We heard how the rich get richer. Just glanced at the rankings and ucla isn’t even top 25. I was expecting a top 5 team. How’s this possible?

Cronin has to get those guys to gel, they got a bunch of great players that came from shitty teams, so they have to learn how to win and be a part of a program that means business. They typically start off slow, it's all about tourney runs, you can sit on your regular season record and spin, as long as you make the dance.

Bur when that happens you get a lousy seed and get bounced early. Ironic the concept of UCLA getting players from crappy teams and teaching them how to win in a program that means business. Shouldn't they have gone somewhere else if they wanted that? What has UCLA done in the last decade or two to indicate they have any idea?
